The program is intended for grades K – 7th. It is an opportunity for all skill levels to learn the fundamentals of Cheerleading – jumps, motions, cheers, dance, tumbling, and stunting! Think about if your student is entering 6th, 7th and plans to join comepetetive cheer, this is a great opportunity to get started! Practices are held on Thursday evenings each week from 6:30-7:30pm for a total of 12 Practices for the program! - Participants will need to wear CLEAN athletic shoes and athletic clothing. Hair is required to be pulled back out of the face. Cost for the program is $145 which includes a free program shirt (that breaks down to less than $12 per practice!) *Full payment is due at registration. We will not accept cash. There are 2 ways to register!! You may use the paper registration form & pay by check OR through the online registration link & pay by credit card. Registration and Payment Options (choose only 1 method): 1. Paper: Fill out the paper form. Attach a check made to PARKSTON CHEER 2. Another great day for the Parkston FFA Chapter today!! 17 students have been working on different LDE’s (leadership development events) for the past few months and yesterday they competed at the District 4 competition in Mitchell! Parliamentary Procedure (Gage Reichert, Quayden Culbert, Elliott Leischner, Hilary Polreis, Alyssa Weisz, Kahris Tapio) placed 2nd and Advanced to State! Conduct of Chapter Meetings/Junior Parliamentary Procedure (Aiden Overby, Carson Bueber, Cale Weber, Lizzy Schoenfelder, Gage Jodozi, Mason Jervik, Izzy Leischner) placed 2nd and Advanced to State! Ag Broadcasting (Elle Goehring and Brooklyn Wagner). Brooklyn placed 5th and Elle placed 3rd. Elle Advanced to State! Emily Walz placed 12th in Prepared Public Speaking. Grace Lindeman placed 2nd in Employability Skills and Advanced to State! Izzy Leischner and Kahris Tapio competed in Creed Speaking, Kahris placed 4th and is alternate to state, Izzy placed 13th.
